"It is a shame that restrictions on improvements to this listed historic building mean that some amenities we take for granted in the 21st Century are not able to be provided - eg poor wi fi, no pool, no bath, no lift to upper floor (difficult stairs with luggage over 20kgs & no porter), poor tv coverage (no English speaking channel at all - not even news). "It was just wonderful. We were looking for a place where we could regain our strength and Le Torricelle gave us a paradise surrounded by nature, kind souls, peacefulness and rest. It is a remote place bathed in sunlight and good air. Whenever we felt the energy to go and explore the surrounding areas, we did not have to go and search far: the sea is reachable within 1 hour by car, beautiful small villages invite to walk and look at all of these old houses and castles and a good coffee is waiting...
