"It has a quality 4-star feel. We did the 40-minute private onsen and had one in our room. The buffet, including all you can drink, had a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It’s close to the pirate ship and ropeway if interested. Otherwise, it’s remote, but that was important to us. We’ll be back."

"Quite location with a grocery store nearby. Rooms are quite dark and could be cleaner, especially the sofa and in room onsen would deserve an upgrade. Plenty of food for dinner and breakfast, however, we would prefer less but better quality. Onsen with the forest view was nice."

"Except one thing that I will mention at the end — The room was nice and clean. The public baths were great (able to tried both located on 5F and 6F) - well maintained and clean. The view of 6F public bath was spectacular. It’s definitely not convenient location because it’s the terminus station of the bus from Gora. Going back to Gora you will definitely take hotel shuttle which ends at 5pm, or taxi. We happened coming from Gotemba where the bus stops right outside the hotel. So the only thing we didn’t like - the private hot tub in the room. (1) small that could just fit one (we happened to go to another onsen hotel and in-room tub could fit 2); the room’s tub is at the balcony… let’s not say it maybe too cold at night. It was very dark at night too. There were only very dim light at the corner of the balcony making it very dark at night. — the dark and cold and small tub making us impossible to enjoy the private tub in the room. Not sure how others would enjoy or do that at night. But we think it’s just something that looks nice for you to have but it’s just not practical."
