「Welcome drink on arrival... Still waiting for it! Raised issues with staff that were handled professionally but could have easily been avoided. Buffet style breakfast with choice of additional cooked to order dishes and continental options 5*. The surroundings were breathtaking. 「Cashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way . Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery. So glad we had booked as they were turning people away ! The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive. Lovely relaxing night away , helped by the English heatwave .」
