So I spent mornings on long walks and then a nice lunch in the village. 「We stayed at Wisteria Cottage for 6 days in April 2024 and can only recommend this cottage: it was very clean and all the necessary things for daily use are available. The location in Topsham is great as you can walk to many restaurants and pubs. The cottage is right on the High Street but we didn't find the traffic disturbing. In short, we would come back at any time.」

「The stable was much bigger than the photos show & was veer clean & spacious with everything to hand. The owners Jan & Nick have thought of everything. The garden & woods are lovely, we were lucky to be there with the bluebells in full bloom. Enjoyed seeing all the animals including horses, rabbits, squirrels & lots of different birds. The stars are amazing when the night sky is clear. Lots of places to visit, we went to Rye, Hastings, Canterbury & Bodiam Castle.」

I also appreciated the flyers of local activities. Communication was excellent and very prompt…an added touch of hospitality. Neighbors were friendly and well accommodating while we were unloading. The property is located in the grounds of the owner’s property who provided us with a warm welcome and recommended places to eat and walk. The village is great and has pubs, bars and cafes a short walk away, we didn’t need to use the car all weekend. Would recommend」

「Our stay at Sandpipers Cottage in Looe was excellent. Peter the Host is excellent to chat with, he answered all our questions. It is a cute 3 story cottage in a perfect location to explore Looe and all of Cornwall, with great Bus, Train connections. We walked along the South West Coastal Trail to neighbouring villages.
