「Always love staying at wildgoose cottage,this was my 3rd stay,and I have already booked for May next year,so peaceful and just 2min.drive into whitby, Joanne is always there on the phone if you need to talk to her 」

「A very attractive, well-equipped and clean cottage. It was perfect for us. We appreciated having an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs loo. The kitchen was well-equipped; it even had a teapot (rare these days). We enjoyed sitting in the garden. Although in the middle of a busy village it was very quiet. As we don’t drive we used public transport, but car owners would like the parking spot outside the house.Unfortunately we had an emergency at home which meant we weren’t both there all the time,...

「Lovely little cottage in perfect location. The cottage is exactly as described and is a perfect Dales base for 2 people. We booked pretty last minute for the bank holiday week in August, so we were worried about the lack of a dedicated parking space. However, we were able to park either on the road outside or in the car park round the corner every day - so not a problem at all.」

「Wonderful stay, beautiful area, lovely hosts, peaceful place. Absolutely perfect for us as two small families, lots of space and our dog enjoyed himself too. Good value for money. Thank you」

「The property internally is nicely presented. There’s a good fitted kitchen with built in appliances and every item of crockery and kitchen utensil you could think of. The electric recliners were very comfy and there is a modern bathroom with a good shower. The property was very clean and nicely presented. The negatives are that the access is poor. Although it’s the norm for Whitby the access is much steeper than we expected and the nearest parking is quite a walk away. 100% not wheelchair...
