「Was a beautiful stay, the room was really clean, the property well maintained. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again or advise anyone to stay ☺️ thankyou!」

「We only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night and it was very nice. Lovely room with a Comfortable bed, great shower and towels. Plenty if tea and coffee, and if you ran out you could get more from a dish on the landing also a sweet treat if you needed it, which I thought was a nice touch. It was a bit away from restaurants and the main shopping but public buses stopped just down the road and was easy to catch and came regularly if you didn’t have a car. 「Great location and price. Very helpful and kind staff.」

「Had a nice stay for our anniversary. Good suggestions for local walks. Wine and food was nice. It was a little disappointing that they did not do anything to mark our 10 year wedding anniversary and we had put a note on our booking. Drinks are quite expensive £6.50 for a pint/£10 for prosseco glass」

The small but perfectly equipped kitchen was a welcome addition as was the milk and delicious fudge left for us by the warm and friendly owner, Adele. The beautiful bedroom upstairs is charming and quirky...
