"The hotel itself is a bit on the far end of the town, making it nice and quiet, with a fantastic view over lake Toya and the islands. If you come by train or bus, they kindly offer shuttle services, which was greatly appreciated. Rooms very comfortable with their own onsen, beds amazing, breakfast also great - both options, Japanese and Western style. The only problem was that even though you were a hotel guest, you could not dine in the hotel, unless you call at least two days in advance. This...

The views of Lake Toya are breathtaking, our room with private onsen was perfect, and the food was incredible - we had one night of Japanese in a private room and one night of french in the main dining room. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and soak in the beauty of Hokkaido."
