「Heel vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer, prachtig strand. De kamer is wel wat gedateerd. Het eten is heerlijk (wel enkel a la carte). Jammer van de sargassum maar blijkbaar was het juist een hele slechte periode.」

「I really enjoyed my stay at Copal. The staff was extremely friendly and prompt to all my requests. The location is in a great area and not that far from the city. I gave this property four stars because of the condition of my door. There were times that I could not lock it, which was kind of scary at night. But other than that, I would definitely stay here again.」

「5日間滞在、夏は蚊がとても多く運河沿いのバルコニーでは寛げません。部屋はいつも清潔にしてくれてますが、万が一甘い物などを床に落としていたら、数時間後には蟻の大群が現れます。豊かな木々に囲まれたジャングルの中のホテルなので致し方無いですが、虫が嫌いな方にはあまりお勧めはしません。レストランの食事は美味しいです。ビーチ沿いのレストランのギャルソンはワインにも詳しく、料理のアドバイスも的確です。All incluで無いとある程度高くつきますが、その分ワイン、食事、カクテルは思い通りの味わいの物を楽しめます。ただやはり隣のローズウッドにはプール以外の面では劣ります。２人の娘(7歳)が一緒という事もあり、滑り台があるプールは魅力的だったのでこちらを選びましたが、次回は間違いなくローズウッドを選びます。」
