Opted not to have breakfast as had early start the following day. Room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable and both was a generous size. And will be more than happy to stay again when in the area.」

「A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. 」
