"Attending a wedding there. Stayed there for 3 days. Room was clean. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning being downstairs. You had to be careful about leaving the window open, would we stay there again? Yes"

"Normally a very good hotel. Currently had an extension being built. So plenty of daytime noise. Had a broken shower that I’ve been informed will get fixed. However my main concern/problem was a member of staff called Lilac (or some similar). Rude just doesn’t cut it. Repeatedly interrupted her colleague at time of check in. "The rooms were clean, the parking is great and if you travel by train its opposite the station. There is no food options for dinner, but you can order in and sit in the dinning room, which is lovely and charming. I love this hotel. I think its run for and by YMCA(but could be wrong)."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we had (family room) was tired and well used. Poorly set out, occupants of the double room had to go through the twin room to access the bath room. Unfortunately very noisy hot and smelly due the kitchen extractor fan located outside the bedroom window. Breakfast although served by helpful waitress was poor, I x small rasher of bacon, a small what looked like and tasted like cheap brand sausage. Toast was thin tasteless cheap (45p) supermarket...
