「Parking outside the pub was full but there is a small village car park on the opposite side of the road to use. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the room well presented woth a great choice of teas, coffees and biscuits available in the room. There are a few walks that can be done straight from the pub. I was doubtful about staying at a pub but this place was excellent.」

「Amazing property, well thought out and furnished with excellent views. Staff were excellent too and you had a really nice lemon cake to share. Only downside was the main spa in the pictures was not included and was an extra £35 per hour, per person and we were told we needed to book 2 weeks in advance! There is a hot tub and sauna in the garden which is nice.」

The property itself is quite large, which may contribute to some of the upkeep challenges. However, throughout the property the carpets appeared worn and in poor condition, and the upholstery in the restaurant was also noticeably tired and in need of refurbishment.
