Shocking

We were due to stay for 1 night Christmas shopping trip @ Street. Arrived early evening to be told "we tried to contact you sir , the hotel is closed to the public". The hotel was being used to house asylum seekers? We had to travel back up the M5 to another hotel. Also missed dinner at a local pub that we had booked. I appreciate these people need somewhere but H.I did not advise us at all until we arrived????? Will never book with them again!!!

Handy location for Carnival

Hotel very busy due to Carnival but check in was efficient and friendly. We had to park in pub csrpark and register on their system to avoid a fine but had no issues doing so. Room was a reasonable size with all the amenities we needed. Bathroom quite stylish with spacious shower and nice tiles. Only omission was a heated towel rail. We had to pick a slot for breakfast due to it being so busy. Breakfast was the weak link with limited choice. Coffee was un- drinkable - latte was weak and watery, flat white bitter and watery. Hot chocolate was much better. Staff work hard.

Perfect stay, Wi-Fi could be a bit better and TV lost the single every so often. The room was very clean and well designed

Nice comfortable stay, free food

Checking in was welcoming, room was set up for us as we had two children under 2 and checked in before midnight, bed was very comfortable had a great sleep even if it was for only 5 hours or so, bathroom had everything we needed, breakfast not the best breakfast I've had lately, small plates, no fried eggs, no mushrooms, no black pudding, scrambled egg and sausages didnt taste or feel nice eating 😔 must be why breakfast is free so I can't complain too much.

Overnight stay on our journey

Easy access from J24 M5, four sisters staying one night, very clean with toiletries provided, buffet breakfast included in rate was generous and well stocked. Will never stay in an alternative if there is a Holiday Inn available on our travels, excellent value for money.

We had booked a family room, extras had not be provided and I had to chase for towels, cups and extras. Room was tiny for a family and we had no room to move and smack our legs on bed frames. Inside the kettle was foul and had brown slime inside. Fan in the bathroom didn't work either. Breakfast was mad, Covid had clearly gone out the window people touching and grabbing everything. On a good note the beds were really comfy.

Overral lovely

Some staff very welcoming and happy. Others wouldnt even greet you unless you approached the desks despite being stood. Rooms very clean and half staff very helpful and would greet you with good mornings and hellos. Rooms very clean with lots of facilities. Cleaners very kind and helpful. Some issues regarding busier times for breakfast but this cannot be resolved. Modern and stunning hotel in prime location.
