Sidcot Arms
8/10 Good
"My daughter and I have just had a very pleasant stay at the Sidcot arms. My daughter is a wheelchair user and it was a delight to stay somewhere that was really accessible. Often we have booked accessible accommodation only to discover that it really wasn't. The Sidcot arms had ramps, our room was in an accessible wing of the hotel and the bathroom offered plenty of space for manoeveur, and she could use the sink and toilet. There was also plenty of room for moving around in the bedroom area too."

The Castle at Taunton
10/10 Excellent
"Such a beautiful historic property - covered in blooming wisteria in June. I had the garden room and loved it."

Bridge Inn by Greene King Inns
8/10 Good
"It is a great price with attached restaurant and bar. However, it is in the middle of no where."

Holiday Inn Bristol Airport by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Very pleasantly surprised at how good this Holiday Inn is. Everything is top notch: the facilities, staff, food and surroundings. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay went perfectly. We ate breakfast (book the night before to get a discount), nice selection of hot and cold foods, fruit, pastries, very delicious."

Best Western Webbington Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"A nice Edwardian hotel with many Victorian gothic features. Well maintained and undated. Lots of shaded parking available. Nice swimming pool that can be booked in units of 30 minute sessions for lane swimming (over 14's only) during morning and evening sessions limited to 4 swimmers, or the alternative family fun sessions. The steam room and sauna are the other side of the complex from the pool within the gym- unusual setup but nice facilities. I was upgraded to a larger period room that was very spacious and elegant with a nice view of the plain stretching to the Bristol channel. It was cripplingly hot outside, but the room was moderately cool. Even so, it was better when the fan that reception offered was installed. Thanks to the reception team! The hotel has a patio with a wonderful view looking out onto the plain where drinks and food can be served. Although it is a little off the motorway, about 15 minutes, I really like this hotel and have stayed here over five times in the last year. Reasonable priced in a quiet and beautiful location, even though the motorway passes within a mile you hardly notice it unless you look for it. Final note avoid GPS recommendations to go through the little villages and lanes Google says it is quicker but takes twice the time! Follow the hotel advice and keep on the A roads until you see the Webbington/brown tourist hotel sign."

Holiday Inn Express Taunton East by IHG

"All good except terrible food! The microwave operator needs more training!"
