The most amazing hotel in a beautiful location - great access to the M5.
The owner kindly waited till past midnight to check me in, after my flight was delayed.
I stayed in the four poster bedroom with stunning original features and an amazing view over the Somerset countryside.
Breakfast was hot, tasty and prompt and offered a great opportunity to meet the other guests, around the large dining table.
The history of the main house is fascinating. The building i started in was well fitted out, with plenty of space and a lovely shower room. The owners were very welcoming. There was a great choice for breakfast.
Super location. Lovely property & grounds and very comfortable. A real find. Anne is wonderful. A warm and friendly service awaits!
You won't be disappointed.

A place to unplug and travel back in time... This place is really fantastic and extremely well kept. You can have all the comforts of modern life in an authentic historic setting.
The hosts are simply amazing and they go far and beyond the line of duty to accommodate you. The breakfast was an amazing moment. Nice atmosphere, very good food made to order and prepared with love. Thank you!
Amazing historical property, very unique, due to unforeseen circumstances we had a very quick stay but we would love to return and stay longer to explore. Great breakfast and pleasant hosts
I don’t normally leave reviews unless somewhere is really good or really bad.
Thankfully Blackmore Farm is definitely the former.
It is a great B&B in a historic building full of character.
Very comfortable & clean.
Breakfast was excellent & the hosts extremely welcoming.
Highly recommended & will definitely return when in the area.
Thank you.
If you want a unique wonderful experience then this is for you, the building and grounds are so beautiful and full of detail.
One of the best nights sleep I have had and a great breakfast
Treat yourself or someone special
Very peaceful
Ian and his family are great and were extremely welcoming
It was like staying at a national trust property - beautiful room/building and location
Perfect trip for a child free getaway after lockdown !
What a place, the photos don't do it justice! The history of the farmhouse is incredible and it's been lovingly restored retaining all the character. Lovely couple that own and run the B&B, helped us secure a last minute dinner reservation at a restaurant down the road, cracking breakfast as well, just what we needed for a days cycling.
Fantastic stay - only one night but very impressed with the accommodation (the whole barn to ourselves!), beautiful surroundings, fabulous breakfast cooked to order and a very friendly and informative owner - Ian.
The building is a real gem. My room was large and had a four poster bed. I chanced on this hotel whilst working in the area and I would say that the pictures don’t do it justice.
The B&B itself was beautiful, the hosts were very friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and served in a lovely big dining hall. The on-site farm shop had a great selection of local products.
Would definitely recommend a stay a Blackmore Farm
We stayed at Blackmore farm for one night, in the West Bedroom. The manor house is a 15th century grade I listed building, beautifully and authentically decorated, but with modern day comforts. We had a large room with a 4 poster bed, fire place, tv, seating area, and a lovely big bathroom. Downstairs, there's an amazing dining room, with a large fire place, 20 seater table and many 15 century curiosities. All this makes Blackmore farm memorable, but in my view, what makes it exceptional is the hosts, Ian and Ann. We were given a very warm welcome, with a roaring log fire, tea and biscuits. We were going to walk to the nearby malt shovel inn for dinner, but the road was flooded due to rain, so Ian gave us a lift to the pub and picked us up after dinner! Next morning, there was a fantastic breakfast waiting for us, made by Ann, all from local organic produce. It was only a brief visit, but a very happy one! Thank you Blackmore farm, we will visit again.
