Ryokans in Koza District

"Staff were wonderful and the buffet dinner and breakfast were brilliant. The hallways smelled a bit funny and the aircon in the room took a bit to kick in but lovely stay otherwise."

"Very nice hotel and onsen"

"The staff here were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel welcomed and helped you settle in. The property is beautiful, a classic traditional Japanese style ryokan and they provide slippers and robes as well. It was a very enjoyable stay for us. Even given the 15-20minute walk from the train station, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature and architecture, so it doesn’t feel very far at all. Our room had a private onsen which was fantastic, definitely a highlight! We recommend...

"Great place! Very authentic but clean and beautiful. Staff were great. Food was delicious! Perfect location and nice grounds. Would recommend"

"The hotel is fine but the air conditioning at public area absolutely poor, when we went out from the room, we just like go outside the hotel, you can feel it hot like sunshine. The hotel should upgrade the system. "

"Great food services!!"

"Very traditional rooms and beautiful gardens in a great location. "

"This was the perfect break between Tokyo and Kyoto for our honeymoon. We didn’t realize how much we needed a beautiful, relaxing Japanese stay until we stayed here. The private onsen, the traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast (you can choose a western style if you wish), and the service provided by the property was excellent. I will prioritize staying here more and relaxing on my next trip to Japan rather than stay in the big city!"

"The place is very unique and charming. A really amazing experience for a traditional Onsen. The staff are super kind and the service is superb."

"Food was great. Room was spacious and clean."

"Had a brilliant stay - the staff were really friendly and helpful, the Ryokan felt very traditional but also very modern, and the breakfast the next day was brilliant too."

"Rooms were musky and food was ok"
