Beautiful hotel, fabulous location right on the beach. The rooms are great, excellent staff and delicious food. No complaints at all! Safe place great for everyone- family, solo travelers or couples. I will definitely be returning.

A beautiful location, clean rooms and friendly staff that are trying their best to help customers at a new hotel that has a steep learning curve. I'm not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews given the obvious shared frustrations of many hotel guests. - Service was extremely slow, with a single drink order often taking 45mins-1hr. - There was a comically excessive amount of flies at the restaurant for breakfast every morning. This was the only restaurant on the island where we experienced this in a week. - The shower dividers are to short causing excess water in the bathroom every shower. - No do not disturb sign was provided at check-in and we found two people in our room doing turn down at 8pm after dinner the first night. - There is no beach walking acces to the main part of town. Back roads with debris and open garbage need to be used that can often flood if raining. - Prices for drinks and food at the hotel and are much higher than better quality options offered elsewhere in holbox. This place has great potential if they can keep improving to offer a better value service.

Room was great a little far from everything but staff was wonderful. Gave a 3 star due to distance and weather was not great had to eat dinner in our room for 2 nights due to restaurant being outdoors. Beautiful resort though.

Ana y Jose was simply amazing. From the ocean view from my room to the wonderful staff, it was easy, relaxed and beautiful. The staff is wonderful. Attentive and very warm. Everyone is there to ensure that you have a great time. Food, drinks, and beach facilities are all great. The beach front itself had no seaweed and was very well taken care of. Also, make sure to head to the pool on the roof. Amazing views! Rooms were nice, clean and AC was blasting. No complaints! Ocean view room is definitely worth it. Cant wait to return asap! Thanks for such a great time! xx

I requested clean towels, they didn’t provide the first time, I had to requested 3 times, no phones in the rooms, if you need anything you have to walk all the way to the lobby. Flies everywhere, they have those table fans but they can’t stop the flies landing in your food. Very unpleasant experience. Breakfast was included, I ordered the same thing everyday, they serve d me greysh looking eggs very mushy very disgusting, the following day they serve me scrambled eggs with carrots…. Customer service is great, Is not their fault upper management don’t take care of things….

Book this hotel with caution. We stayed here for nine days, and every single day, we encountered an issue. The service at this hotel is 5 out of 10.Unfortunately, the hotel overall rates a 6 out of 10. Each day, I was disappointed with the hotel, particularly in terms of service and amenities.The aesthetics of this hotel are beautiful, and the beachfront is stunning. The servers are all great and doing their best but being managed poorly.“Breakfast is included,” except it actually isn’t. Only certain items are included, and even fresh-pressed juice is not part of it.I booked this hotel because they offered free breakfast. They claim the rooftop pool has full service, but that is incorrect. There were never any towels available up there, and the servers didn’t come by. After waiting 20 to 30 minutes, I had to go down to the beach and grab my own towels. I requested service, but no one came. The towels never smelled fresh; they smelled like fried food. The water in the shower was never hot enough. There were flies everywhere, and the hotel did nothing about them. This is a luxury hotel, and having flies buzzing around is not indicative of luxury. Every restaurant we visited in town made sure we weren’t bothered by them. This hotel did nothing about it. Lack of sun chairs, the layout of the rooms also makes no sense the closet is too small and there are no dressers in the room but there are two large tables one for office work the other one not sure what for! Hope this helps

Las instalaciones muy lindas, todo está muy nuevo, los alimentos excelentes, la pizza de langosta 10/10 , es caro pero el sabor de todo muy bueno, el desayuno incluid, excelente, lo único malo fue la habitación que me tocó, había mucho ruido de unas máquinas a cada rato, prendían y apagaban, total que te despertaba a media noche y en la madrugada, me tocó la habitación 106 cerca de la recepción, todo era lindo menos el ruido de esas máquinas y como se oye todo en esa habitación, a las 6am empezaba el ruido del personal.

Tolles und sehr sauberes Zimmer sowie eine geschmackvoll gestaltete, sehr besondere Anlage. Der Strand vor der Tür ist super und durch die vielen Liegen und Sitzsäcke ist es auch sehr convenient, diesen zu nutzen. Die Dachterrasse und der Pool dort sind unglaublich und man hat die Chance auf atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge. Die Lage fanden auch top, obwohl (oder auch gerade weil) man nicht direkt im Zentrum ist. Man hat einen schönen Strand (viel schöner als die direkt im Zentrum) und ist trotzdem fussläufig (20 Minuten etwa) oder mit dem Rad (5-10 Minuten) recht schnell bei vielen netten Restaurants oder auch im Stadtzentrum. Die vielen negativen Kommentare zum Frühstück, den Fliegen etc. können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und lecker und es gab die üblichen Ventilatoren gegen die Fliegen. Auch haben wir nie länger als gewöhnlich auf irgendetwas gewartet, obwohl das Hotel voll war.

Unser Aufenthalt im Ana y Jose war insgesamt okay, aber leider nicht so gut, wie es die Fotos und Beschreibungen erwarten ließen. Das Hotel ist preislich relativ günstig, was positiv ist, dennoch gab es einige Punkte, die den Gesamteindruck deutlich getrübt haben. Besonders störend war, dass selbst beim inkludierten Frühstück aktiv Trinkgeld eingefordert wurde. Auch nach jedem bestellten Cocktail wurde erneut nach Trinkgeld gefragt. Dadurch entstand schnell das Gefühl, dass die Freundlichkeit des Personals weniger authentisch und eher trinkgeldgetrieben war – für uns ziemlich unangenehm und definitiv kein entspannter Start in den Tag. Die Zimmer waren insgesamt relativ normal – schlicht, sauber und ausreichend für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Allerdings fehlten einige praktische Details: • Die Badezimmertür benötigt dringend einen Griff, da sie sich nur umständlich öffnen und schließen lässt. • Wäscheleinen für nasse Badekleidung wären sehr hilfreich, gibt es aber nicht. • Hängematten – auf Holbox vielerorts üblich – fehlen komplett. • Die Handtücher werden sehr selten gewechselt, was grundsätzlich nachhaltig ist, aber sie sind so dünn, dass sie kaum trocknen und danach schnell unangenehm riechen. Ein weiterer deutlicher Negativpunkt waren die vielen Fliegen beim Frühstück. Gefühlt etwa 20 Fliegen an jedem Tisch, ohne dass das Hotel irgendwelche Maßnahmen dagegen ergriffen hätte. Normalmente no hago reseñas, pero en esta ocasión siento la obligación de compartir mi experiencia para evitar que otros pasen por lo mismo. El hotel, en general, está bien, pero mi calificación baja se debe a tres puntos críticos: 1. Ubicación: Está lejos de todo. Para cualquier salida hay que tomar taxi y cada recorrido cuesta $200 MXN, así que una simple ida a cenar termina siendo $400 extra. 2. Servicio muy lento: En el restaurante y en general. Hay suficiente personal, pero la supervisión es claramente deficiente. 3. Problemas serios con insectos: • Moscas: En el restaurante y la playa es casi imposible estar por la cantidad. Desayunando puedes tener 50 moscas encima. Esto se solucionaría fácilmente con ventiladores, velas anti-insectos o trampas, opciones económicas y disponibles en línea. • Mosquitos (Chaquistes): Una tarde, viendo el atardecer, terminé con más de 400 piquetes. Esta especie es muy pequeña y no sientes la picadura, pero al día siguiente es terrible. No fumigan ni advierten al huésped de esta situación. Por estas razones, yo no regresaría a este hotel.

L'hôtel est neuf et propre. Avec un personnel de qualité et très très serviable. Merci beaucoup à Fernando et son équipe 😁. On a toujours une magnifique vue sur la plage que ce soit dans la chambre, le restaurant ou la piscine à renversement sur le toit. La cuisine du restaurant est excellente. Juste le déjeuner compris vallait le prix de la chambre 😉. On retournerais à cet hôtel sans hésiter.

Joya de lugar, la comida súper deli, el rooftop con su alberca Infinitum está espectacular y más aún para ver desde ahí los atardeceres. Buen spot para desconectarte y relajarte de principio a fin. Además es pet friendly (eso sí, para perros pequeños). Lugar fav de la Isla
