「Overall an OK stay but not worth the price tag. Visited at half term, hotel appeared under prepared. All staff were helpful and polite but clearly under staffed so not necessarily their fault. Room not ready 2 hours after check-in, walkways not maintained, dirty glasses and plates with food on outside a lot of rooms. 1 bath robe in the room for 3 guests, toilet in the room didn't flush and whole bathroom in need of basic repairs. Bar/restaurant stopped taking food orders at 7:20pm in school...

「Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Room well presented but no shower gel in the shower! Spa would have been £50 pp as we were on a B &B rate. Food in elements restaurant overpriced and vegetarian choice was bland and disappointing. Gorgeous slightly individual hotel but definitely overpriced」

「This was one of the finest travel experiences my husband and I ever had to be underground yeah. At first we were disappointed because we thought we were going to be in the underground brick bunker room and we weren't we were just in a plain old underground room but when I talked to the staff about it they upgraded us to the most beautiful room I've ever seen with a huge copper bathtub, a four poster bed the most luxurious comfortable place we've ever stayed. The the food was superb, incredible...
