"The room was impeccably clean and the bed comfortable. Unfortunately the fireplace did not work, but considering the warm, perfect October evening it was not really needed."

"I loved how spacious and comfortable my room was with its wonderful shower/jacuzzi tub! But the fondest memory I will have of my stay at Cayucos Sunset Inn were the mornings I had breakfast in the cozy decorative parlor with my 6-year old grandson...and being served by vivacious & engaging Gretchen, who enlightened us about objects my grandson was curious about...while delivering such delicious meals from the inn's fantastic cook. Their morning muffins were amazingly good along with the hot chocolate and hot teas! Oh...and what a delight to see (and eat) the freshly baked cookies hanging in a special bag on my door each evening!!! I can't wait to return... hopefully soon!"

"We were in town for my nephews graduation from Cal Poly. Cayucos is a special place for our entire family. My family of 5 stayed in this cozy beach house that was just perfect. In fact, it would have been just as comfortable with a few more people too. Views were great; perfect public access to the beach; and just a relaxing environment. We were able to cook our meals with ease, walk where we wanted, and enjoy Cayucos to it's finest. The owner was wonderful to work with and so sweet from beginning to end. My youngest left his special blanket and the owner kindly had the cleaners find it AND we were able to get it back safely. We will definitely be renting this home again, if it's available. "
