"The hotel is directly across the street from the ocean. Parking is out front and within the property. We opted for a room with a jet tub (no view) since our trip was going to be for the bike path, and let me tell you it was awesome & relaxin. When we got back, they had made homemade pecan pies with ice cream for all guest. All the stairs outside was lit up with string lights. They were quite a few lil secret spots to stop and enjoy wine or great company. They have bikes free for the guest available on the property. Just a note: they do not have elevators which was ok with us but if my mother would have came a 1st floor would have been a must. Ohh.. And a roof top Cafe (morning)!! This is a must and free to the guest. Great to sip on wine in the evening, listen and breathe in the ocean."

"I requested an ocean view and instead got a parking lot view. The hotel was not busy. The lobby was still under construction so we couldn’t access it. The walls and ceilings are very thin. Could hear everything from neighbors above us. They woke me up several times during the night. low water pressure "

"We had a delightful stay at Avila Beach in our cozy cottage. The view from the deck was even better than the photos show. Our weather was good so our deck time was plentiful and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed a deck BBQ one evening. The beachy decor added to the ambiance of our stay. Customer service was spot on with the timing of our arrival, instructions for entering and responded to a request quickly. Walking to town was easy and scenic, walking back gave us good exercise up the hill. The town is charming, as always, and we had an amazing sunset dinner at "Blue Moon on Avila Beach" restaurant. The food, service and view were outstanding!!!! We would definitely stay here again. Thank You Avila Beach House for a wonderful Coastal Vacation!!!"
