The US Grant, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Diego

5.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1008)
"Room 712 - bathroom smells like a sewer. Seriously disgusting. The heater is the loudest noise you've ever heard so good luck trying to go to sleep with the temperature regulated. You can either have warmth or silence. Ordered room service and they didn't bring me butter with my $8 toast. When I asked them to bring it they said it would take 15 minutes. I can go downstairs and buy butter from CVS and be back in 15 mins. Their lack of staff isn't my problem. Maybe they shouldn't forget basic...

The Sofia Hotel

3.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (1520)
"I stayed for four nights to watch a Padres game. The room quality and service were excellent and well worth the price. On the second night, the neighboring room was extremely noisy past midnight. I called the front desk, and they promptly addressed the issue, restoring peace. I truly appreciate their quick response. The only downside was that the front desk didn’t have a nail clipper available when I needed one. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to San Diego."

"We had an amazing stay at The Horton Grand, right in the heart of Downtown/Gaslamp Quarter. The location is perfect—walking distance to everything we needed, from great restaurants to shops and entertainment. Our suite was spacious and spotless, with a surprisingly large kitchen that made it feel like a home away from home. The room was well-appointed, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. What really stood out was the staff—everyone was so friendly,...

Harborview Inn & Suites San Diego Harbor

2.0 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (1015)
"The customer service at the front desk was always amazing. I wasn’t very fond of the attention to detail from the cleaning staff it wasn’t typical to what I’ve experienced at other properties. I stayed for a total of 13 days and out of those 13 days I placed the room service tag for cleaning on the door on 8 different days when leaving for work in the morning and only twice did I come back and the room was actually attended to; all the other times it seemed like the tag was ignored and one...
