First time using a hostel. I was very bumbling, but walking there from Union Station was easy; as an afab person, the surroundings did not feel dangerous. The room was comfortable, simple, easy, with a shower and toilet in easy access and some nice things thrown in (a hair dryer, for one.) The free breakfast was simple, but the coffee was nice and overall it was filling, with a nice view of the towering buildings while you eat. Overall the atmosphere was very safe and comfortable, I never once...

This hotel met our expectations. All the city attractions were within a walkable distance. The staff at breakfast was amazing! Shout out to Javier who was so welcoming and friendly :)

I enjoyed my stay here. I didn’t get a chance to experience breakfast or the pool, but it's nice that they're avaliable. I loved the area, very easy to walk for food and entertainment. The bed does need replacing as it makes a squeaking noise when you sit on it and the mattress wasn't that comfortable. Even with that, I would stay here again.

After a terrible experience with the airline & an unexpected overnight stay without our bags, it was refreshing to end up at this Hampton Inn after a long international flight. The hotel was affordable & had a convenient 24 hr shuttle service. When the front desk concierge found out we didn’t have our bags she put a little bag together for us with tooth brushes, tooth paste, deodorant & razors. It was much appreciated.

I was traveling with two 14 year olds on a business/vacation trip and we stayed here for five days. The location is great. I wanted a hotel that was convenient to the major attractions and downtown, and safe for the boys to walk around on their own. We were able to walk to Navy Pier, Millennium Park, the Loop, and the Hancock Building. It's a good 20-25 minute walk to Navy Pier, but you walk along Lakeshore Drive and it's very enjoyable.

Excellent stay with the exception of parking. They lets us know about a 7 min walk parking for $30 a night. But there was street parking or self parking behind Trump Plaza.

I liked that the hotel was near so many options for transportation and food. A nice amount of the locations where in walking distance.
Although the rooms are small, you will not hear your neighbors.
They also response quickly to concerns and complains.

We liked the hotel very much. Any of the staff that we contacted regarding any issues we had were more than helpful. Our room was actually a suite, with a great bed and TV and counter in one room, and almost a conference table and TV in the other half of the room. There was also a microwave and a refrigerator in both sides of the suite. The breakfast was great, with waffle machines, and fresh hot eggs, sausage, bacon, etc, served by staff. They stayed on top of any shortages very quickly. ...
