This hotel is great for those who like a party atmosphere. We don't and found it impossible to move our room away from the noise sources, and every associate we spoke with was obviously not empowered to do anything about it. They offered a downgrade with no credit, or an upgrade at full price. It was impossible to sleep in our location. Elevator was malfunctioning while we were there, and the food was ok, depending on where you chose to eat. Some was not appealing. The hotel took five days to tell us they would not refund our money (after being there for 1 day) - by then we had already located to another hotel. Very disappointed.

La verdad, quedé espantada con este hotel, primero que nada nos dieron una habitación que se comunicaba con otra, que por suerte era mi papá al que teníamos al lado, pero ellos no preguntaron si así estaba bien ni nada al respecto, las dividía una puerta la cual empujabas y ya estabas en la otra habitación…. Luego el aire acondicionado en ninguna de las 3 habitaciones que teníamos no enfriaba lo suficientemente ademas de no poderlo regular uno mismo, tremendisimo polvo que había en toda la habitación la caja de seguridad súper antigua que nisiquiera funcionaba solamente rellenaron el minibar un solo día fila para todo absolutamente todo, no hay ningún lugar en todas la piscinas donde haya una sombra o sombrilla, el trato de ellos es horrible solo te encuentras uno o dos que sean amables, el que escoja manilla negra (the piramid) talvez se l pase un poco mejor ya que tiene algunos privilegios, en fin no volvería realmente a este hotel

Es el peor hotel donde me he quedado, personal nefasto, instalaciones deplorables, una total mala experiencia nadie debería hospedarse ahí Los elevadores no sirven nadie te ayuda con tu equipaje que baje por 6 pisos y jamás llegó el maletero, la comida es la peor, el personal muy grosero ni siquiera agua pudieron llevarme a mi habitación ni porque me ofrecí a pagarla pero que me la llevaran hice un vuelo larguísimo y solo buscaba descansar

Overall, my stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun was an enjoyable one, however the room(s) I were assigned left lots to be desired. The first room had no working air and was poorly decorated and did not look very sanitary as if the last guest had just left. The refrigerator in the first room was completely empty (not stocked full as is routine for an all-inclusive resort). The second room had working air and was a bit cleaner, although the decor was horribly outdated and there was no headboard. The rest of the resort was absolutely gorgeous and the staff, outside of the check-in crew, was attentive and very warm in their greeting and in their service. I loved all of the restaurants, pools, shops, and activities on the property. The atmosphere was fun-filled and high energy, yet relaxing and inviting later at night. This resort is scenic and peaceful. I enjoy myself here and would actually return, yet I would book a Pyramid room as I hear they are the modern and nicer rooms.

I stayed on the 6th floor and only one elevator was working, which did not always open on the 6th or 1st floors. It was a little frustrating and time consuming. The pool was extremely hot; the pool water did not cool you from the heat and humidity. I rarely give such a poor rating but I needed to say it.

The hotel has a great location and the facilities are decent overall, but they need to be updated. The rooms especially need a remodel; the photos on the website didn't match what we actually got. The staff does their job, but they seemed unmotivated and lacked a service-oriented attitude. Like at other places, on your first day they "invite" you to a free breakfast the next morning to learn about their memberships. It's best to just say no right away. The agents they'll put in front of you are professionals and won't take no for an answer. They will always try to find a way to get you to sign contracts that are nearly impossible to cancel. Save yourself the trouble and the wasted time, and just enjoy your vacation.

I felt like I was in a college dorm. Too much walking to get strong the resort. Service was horrible and the employees were rude. Did was not that great. Found food outside the resort. The hotel was also dirty in body parts. There was a lounge we went to and it was dirty.

A Terrible Experience with kids My stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the outdated rooms to the terrible service, this resort failed in almost every aspect. Rooms: The rooms were extremely dated, unclean, and far from luxurious. Our "ocean view" was a joke—barely a glimpse of the water from a distance. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and they only left one bottle of water per room, no matter how many guests were staying. When we asked for more, we were ignored. Elevators do not function properly. There was two Elevators in the whole resort and they do not work. If youre going up it stops while going up and overides and goes all the way down to the basement. Very tiny small old Elevators No Amenities for Kids: If you’re traveling with children, look elsewhere. This hotel has nothing for kids—no playground, no entertainment, and no safe or enjoyable spaces for them. The chaotic, rowdy atmosphere made it even worse. Not stroller friendly at all. They gave us a broken baby "crib" for our kid to sleep in. Broken playpen not even a crib. Food & Drinks: The food was inedible—even the upgraded "premium" option (which cost an extra $90/day) was barely passable. The buffet was repetitive, low-quality, and often unappetizing. They basically use all the left over food and put it out for buffets. And when the food is almost over they add water to make it seem like they put more( witnessed with my own eyes)

1-everyday they would clean the room did not leave towels for shower 2-half the time they did not give new water 3-did not restock the fridge with coke and Diet Coke. You only get 2 each and that’s it. 4-roof was leaking water from lights 5-the staff was adding water to meat and chili to make it look like there was more at the buffet in tatish 6- after 2 days we payed 500 to upgrade to black bracket just to get better food and frozen drinks 7-our room was not the room we payed for and our friends got upgraded for free when we asked for a different room we were told there is nothing available

I booked 2 rooms for 4 of us. One room had been leaking the whole time so our whole washroom was always soaked , toilet broke (flush handle) , my friend was very sick so she was stuck in the room. I called and asked for extra blankets one night as housekeeping took my sheets and only my friend had sheets - sat outside our room for over 1.5hrs waiting for these blankets. Booked a dinner that the “building manager” had said was included - then upon checkout was charged $200cad for their “included” dinner. Would never have booked it. Always out of something at the beach area. Second room was infested with cockroaches. Upon checking out we had called for help with our luggage’s and waited over 40 mins so had to haul them ourselves which would have been whatever except for the staff laughing at all of us struggling with our luggage’s. Finally at main lobby one lady take us to multiple spots as she didn’t even know what she was doing. My sick friend had tipped the housekeeper extra to stay a little past check out and she said it would be okay - upon checkout was charged extra for overstaying. They “couldn’t track down the housekeeper” Tours are overpriced at the stands as when looking online we were able to book them cheaper by $40 a person. Performers at the kinky club were great on a Saturday , the other days are not really anything special and then kick you out by 11:30 blasting the full lights at you and telling you to leave. I will not be returning or recommend
