"Our second trip to Conrad was just as good as the first one two years. Helpful staff, fairly clean grounds, and a decent set of amenities. What continues to be a little annoying is the excessive prices for food and drinks, especially given the fairly limited options. Overall though a decent property."

"Be aware the resort is good drive from Puerto Vallarta. The resort is definitely more for relaxation. At least for our family, everything opens late but that’s not a big deal if you don’t wake up early. Overall, the resort is beautiful, maintained and clean throughout. We would definitely return."

"They had great options for food places. I would recommend upgrading to premium to get to choice where you get to eat for dinner & you get to go to the private pool. The other pool was a little too crowded, didn’t go to it once. Majority of the staff speak Spanish, it was difficult to communicate at times but not a big deal! We figured it out. It’s right on the beach & got to see beautiful sunsets. Theres AC and room was spacious for two."
Villa Del Palmar Flamingos Beach Resort and Spa - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Nice place overall. Great location and beautiful pool. Friendly service. The breakfast buffet was awesome but the rest of the food was just ok. This is a nice resort for families. Not much nightlife. We had a 1 bedroom suite and we bought our teenage son so he slept on the sleeper sofa. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday special with balloons and cake. I would stay here again."
"Good overall experience, but specialty dining reservations need major improvement
Overall, we had a good experience. Our room in the newest building was spacious, with a great view of the pool and partial ocean. However, the A/C made a loud noise during its first 20 seconds, which woke up my family at night.
The buffet food was decent but average, though the weekend morning menudo and birria were surprisingly good for an all-inclusive in Nuevo Vallarta. Specialty restaurants were acceptable but not much better than the buffet.
The biggest issues were the reservation system and the concierge staff. To book specialty dining, you must scan a QR code and create an account, but it only allows booking 2 days out. The platform never worked for our group of three couples (aged 35-40, all tech-savvy). We had to visit the concierge daily, where we faced bad attitudes and reluctance. It felt like they made it difficult on purpose to discourage us from using these restaurants.
Fortunately, this does not reflect the rest of the staff. Waiters, bartenders, and housekeeping were incredibly friendly. Special thanks to Miguel Martínez at the buffet for his outstanding service. It is a shame that the concierge desk, which should excel in hospitality, lacked it the most."

"The staff was great. They were kind and considerate. The rooms were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The food was okay. They had multiple options and 2 buffet style restaurants which made eating convenient. The drinks were great and most of the bars could make you anything you wanted. It was quiet and clean with plenty of pool options to choose from. Nothing ever seemed too crowded or busy. If you’re looking for a party resort this is not the one. It’s more for relaxing and enjoying nature. It is located on hills so there is some walking but they do have go carts driving at all times so you do have the option to wait for those or call one up to pick you up from your room."
"One things stands out and thats the staff. Everything was also top notch we loved the restaurants and all the areas to explore in this enormous property. "
"I booked three rooms for six nights in June 2026 for a family trip to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. The age range of the group was 3-90, so it was a tall order to find someone for everyone. Marival Emotions really had it all. It was a 15 minute taxi ride from PVR airport. I was expecting a time share presentation push before getting the room keys at check in. It took a little while (maybe 45 minutes?) and we declined, but it was never brought up again, which I appreciated.
We booked two suites and one regular room. We all received the king beds we requested (it is a preference, not a guarantee). There was not a big price difference, but the one bedroom suites all have two bathrooms, a living room, a table and chairs, bathrobes, and a door on the bedroom, which can be important for families. They were worth the extra money, in my opinion. My brother had a spectacular view of the ocean and pool from his third floor suite! There are different floor plans and even though I booked two of the same 1BR suites, they were very different layouts in different buildings.
My niece had so much fun at the kids club and children's pool.
The staff was really incredible and took such good care of us. Octavio, the concierge, went above and beyond, especially making sure that my parents' (who have some mobility challenges) were able to get dinner reservations at sit down restaurants. I worked briefly in a 4 star hotel, and Octavio is the most amazing concierge I have ever seen!"
"I was greeted immediately. Very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed this day. I wish these dinner menu was a little more extensive but it seems more of a Business hotel? Red destination or people that are traveling to the airport. I was very grateful they accepted dogs but it is a bit spendy to have a dog's day. Other than that the complimentary shuttle was very convenient. Definitely would stay there again. Beds were super comfrey if you're English speaking, it took a little bit of a learning curve, but you can change the language on your TV. Super clean"
