「We had a lovely stay in the Beacon View accommodation. It has a back deck with a superb view so we were disappointed it rained for the whole time lol. Perfect spot for exploring the South Downs National Park, or hopping to Lewes, or like us a day trip to Drusillas Zoo....」

「The hotel was clean and comfortable. On arrival, I was made to feel welcome and the hotel policies explained in a friendly manner including the WiFi password. The room was cleaned during my stay and there were complimentary amenities left in reception for guests outside of normal hours . This was a nice touch to be able to get extra milk for coffee late at night. Lovely friendly staff ,and great security . The location of the property is excellent. I would return again .」

「We stayed in three. The room was big, but it was including waste space where no one stays there. If sofa bed was opened, no space to walk or open your luggage. The room was not in basement, but ground floor rooms have less top window which you feel as it is in basement. I would feel horrible if the days were really hot. No air conditioners. The room hadn't been make up. This is because we didn't put the sign (hanging the door) that we need. Thank you for such warm service. What if we forgot to...

「The room we were allocated was nothing like those advertised. The bathroom had crumbling plaster on the walls ,The very bleak room had poor lighting and curtains that would not open properly to see the 'Sea View'. No hairdrier/no ironing equipment as advertised. The restaurant and the bar was not open at all. The staff were courteous and the linen in the room was clean and fresh, but with nothing to stay and enjoy, we left a day early to come home. Eastbourne itself is sad and neglected as...
