Given the poor reviews I'd read about this hotel I was slightly concerned, however, I had no issues at all! I stayed in Room 4 which is in the rear on the ground floor & did not see or hear anybody else. The room was very small but adequate for 1 night - it was VERY clean & appeared recently refurbished, it had a tv + a table & chair. The bathroom bathroom was small but functional & again spotless!!!! I'd stay again but would request Room 4!!!!

The hotel is more a guest house. I think it is being refurbished. The hotel corridors are quite dark and narrow as its an old building. However the room i stayed in was a pleasant surprise. It was clean and relatively quiet. With smart tv and remote controlled lights and fan and a sofa. It was cheap and i will stay there again. Its very conveniently placed just off the beach near the pier. Great for solo travellers.

From start to finish was not an enjoyable experience from the outdated abandoned looking entrance, the old carpets and poor decor this hotel is nothing like it’s led to be from arrival we was handed a scrap bit of paper with our key code for to enter the room from a man who looked lost and didn’t really know what was going on. Rhe site is more like a hostel than a hotel. From entering to leaving I didn’t not see another member of staff and there were no facilities for food or drink whilst on site. I had paid extra for a Seaview room and the view looking away from the hotel was the only impressive thing I can say about my state. Although the bed was clean and tidy, the room wasn’t very clean there was used condom wrappers and rubbish underneath the bed, the back of the door was covered in paint and there was just a complete lack of care when decoration was carried out. The bathroom door wouldn’t close properly being a sliding door. The shower doors also didn’t close properly meaning that when having a shower the floor would collect a lot of water and with only 2 towels provided we had to share a towel to dry and use one to collect water lot prevent slip hazards. The bed was soft and lumpy and really didn’t enjoy my night.

Mattress was terrible, place was noisy and staff smoking at the back went into room. Room was less than basic and for £70 this is a rip off recommend staying anywhere else. The one plus point was the reception staff who were helpful

We were made welcome on our arrival.The room and ensuite was clean and the beds very comfortable. The location is brilliant being almost opposite the pier and on the seafront. A couple of minor irritations - the door was very rattly (we got used to it) and the windows could not be opened. Slightly more irritating was that we had booked a room with a sea view and although we had a limited view it was not what we had expected. Also, although it did not specifically say there were towels all the website photos showed towels so we didnt bring any!. The propert is clearly being totally renovated and we wish them all the best. Thank you.

Very small room. TV not working. Kettle plug would jot reach power socket. Tiny basin in bathroom. Finished very poor. Will never stay there again.

We booked for one night, then decided to have an extra night. Staff were really welcoming, the room was clean and quiet. Great location, beautiful views. Would definitely recommend.

Upon arrival was shocked at how rude all staff were, in all honesty felt very unsafe from the offset and being a solo traveller was concerned, had a terrible night sleep noisy from being next to a pub and windows that wouldn’t shut in the room so couldn’t block out the sounds, also noises from inside the hotel walls extremely thin and party people there, stains also on my pillows

1 nuit à Eastbourne

Nous étions très satisfait de la chambre, le confort était au rendez-vous. La vue était imprenable sur la jetée d'Eastbourne, cela a rendu notre expérience géniale pour notre week-end. En revanche, la chambre sentait fort l'humidité, le pommeau de douche était cassé et la moquette n'était pas vraiment propre. L'expérience pour 1 nuit était quand même satisfaisante.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Terrible experience – avoid this place I booked this hotel through hotels.com and was extremely disappointed. The room we were given was dirty, smelt awful, and was clearly not cleaned properly. It was in such a bad state that we couldn’t stay there at all — we had to leave and find alternative accommodation last minute, which caused us a lot of stress after a long day of travel. The condition of the room did not match the photos or description online. This was a completely unacceptable experience and I would strongly advise others to avoid booking here. They refuse refunds! --- Let me know if you'd like to name the hotel or add specific details.

Wasnt a pleasant experience for myself

Well i cant give a realistic review as I wasn't able to get into a room or communication with online booking hotels.fom or the property sonhad to go all way back to London or would been stranded. I tried emailing, messaging online, calling other branches but no reply or joy

Not what we expected at all. Looks like a crack house from outside, windows ate all so dirty you cant see out of them. No working lift so had to climb untold number of stairs to get to our room on the 3rd floor. Broken tv left on floor in room. The only thing that was clean was the bedding. No hot water, small handbasin in room that wouldnt drain, then the phonebox sized shower tray filled with stinking water. Have many photis of proof. Not what is represented on the website DO NOT BOOK, THIS PLACE IS JUST AWFUL, SHAMEFULL AND I WOULD BE ASHAMED TO TAKE PEOPLES MONEY TO STAY THERE. Strong smell of urine on our landing, everything filthy. The best thing they can do is ose it, gut it all, and start over. Im beyond words.
