Lovely room, nice and clean and quiet only grumble was that the tv didn’t work as they still use normal tv and not cable but that didn’t matter much as it ment that we slept.

We loved everything about the hotel apart from the sunken manhole in the middle of the main road which was right outside our balcony!! Every time someone drives over it the noise is really loud !! We did raise a complaint with the council so hopefully they fix it soon because we wouldn’t book to come again unless it’s fixed !!

We had a sea view room with balcony which was a reasonable size - not as large as we had assumed from descriptions for a superior room. Sea views were lovely and did sit in the balcony with drinks however just outside the hotel is a manhole in the road that everytime a vehicle drive over it made a real clatter which we could hear even with the balcony door closed not the hotels fault hope the council get it sorted as it was very annoying.

One of the best hotels in the area it’s called the view for a reason and doesn’t disappoint I used it for a one night stay for a gig in The Winter Gardens and it was only a 200 yard walk
