Mexico and Central America Kid friendly Vacations

Sales desks were set up right at each elevator access point to enter the lobby/food area. You were constantly pestered to "upgrade" your trip, do excursions, get massages, etc. Even after saying no and staying firm, they called your hotel room, left things under your door, and constantly asked when you got there and when you were leaving. Some sales pitch always happened. It was awful. The pool area isn't much and most of the entertainment was either water aerobics or karaoke. Food was mediocre. The app to reserve dinner never worked and the restaurants were closed almost everyday. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Traveled for my 39th bday with my husband 3 small children ages 5mo, 2 and 5… I wanted to stay somewhere that was kid friendly… there wasn’t much to do for the kids outside of the pool… they had zip lining mini golf and pool slides but they were very limited and had many restrictions. There wasn’t many food options despite it having 6/7 restaurants… they all were either not open or were open limited hrs for example one place is open for breakfast… 2 places were open for lunch the dinners places were only open certain days… I give the rating 2 out of 10 only because the Japanese restaurant was really good and the coffee bar was excellent… as far as my room I give a ZERO!!!! After 3 days of the room smelling of pee we called down someone came and cleaned but the next morning we smelled it again we realized that URINE was backing up in the shower… I’m not sure from my room or whatever room but I was disgusted and they did nothing but clean it… I didn’t expect a monetary return but a room change or dinner voucher idk something would’ve been nice… finally we eat at the Big Ben steak house for my bday which isn’t apart of the all inclusive the price was bad but for the portion size and options I was highly disappointed … we paid $75 and still left hungry… this is my 6th time traveling to Cancún this was the worst resort I stayed in… I would not return here
