⭐ 1 STAR — SAVE YOUR MONEY! $4,200 WAS A WASTE! Moon Palace Cancun Sunrise was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we’ve had. We paid approximately $4,200 for a family vacation and expected a premium experience. Instead, we dealt with poor maintenance, room issues, aggressive sales tactics, and a serious pool safety problem. The sales pressure was relentless. After saying NO multiple times, we felt like we were followed around the resort and guilt-tripped for refusing their sales presentation. We came to enjoy our vacation—not be harassed into spending more money. Our reservation and rooms were not properly set up, and the A/C in our connecting room did not work. The property was also dirty and poorly maintained. The worst part? My 7-year-old son cut his foot on a broken pool tile. The pool also had visible green scum. After getting hurt, my son was understandably afraid to get back in the pool because he was scared of cutting his foot again. The ocean wasn't much of an option because of the seagrass, meaning our 7-year-old essentially couldn't enjoy either the pool or the ocean—the two biggest reasons we booked a Cancun resort. For $4,200, this is completely unacceptable. A resort charging this much should provide a clean property, functioning rooms, safe pools, and a relaxing family vacation. Don't let the beautiful pictures fool you. Our actual experience was nowhere close to what we expected. We will NOT be returning, and I strongly recommend families

Rooms were smelly and bathroom outdated and not working properly, amenities were also outdated .. had to call house keeping for towels everyday
