Our room, number 3, was on the front of the building, opposite a very busy train track, which resulted in disturbed sleep. Trains ran throughout the night. The window was an old sash window with single glazing, which we had to pad out to stop from rattling. The room was very small, with no room for a bedside table and barely any room to get into the bed, which also wasn't the most comfortable. Breakfast and the lady serving it, was the best part of the stay.

The Bonham is in a perfect location and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are a good size. Our only complaint was with the house keeping staff. We left our room at 8:30 am and our room was not cleaned when we returned at 3. This happened 3 times during our week stayed

Are you going to visit the fortress? This is a great location. The room was good and the street went quiet at 11pm. The staff were SO helpful. This location is steeped in history but do pause in the back courtyard and remember the 13 that were killed during the first war in a Zeppelin raid by the L14. May we see the day when God will make wars cease.
