"the staff was friendly, the room clean but generic.. bathroom somewhat outdated but ok View of harbor spectacular, had a frig and Keurig in the room plus an iron and ironing board. but no safe. Bed very comfortable, Air conditioning worked well. No room service but had restaurant on the property. Parking lot at the hotel and location right on the harbor and convenient to shops and restaurants. Only complaint would be the tv.. very limited shows, mostly local stations.. no cable news or shows.. an old hotel and a little tired but All in all , a good value for the money. Great location!"

"I liked the property because it is close to Eaton’s Beach and the Cliff Walk. The room was exceptionally clean, and the amenities were great. The parking spot is very convenient. The staff was nice too. They let me check in early."

"Staff was very cordial. Room was comfortable. Bathroom tub was not handicap assessable. However was a sauna tub if this is important for your stay. We were in walking distance to Thames Street. There is no room service during your stay. Our stay suited our needs."

"2nd time here and there will def be a 3rd. Rick, the owner, always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels taken care of (right down to helping a friend who was coming to meet us secure parking). All of the buildings in his constellation of B&Bs are historic and on a picture-postcard street (exactly what you want in historic district) and equally accessible to main drag of Thames and the wharves (5 mins walk to the bar we were going to and even better, a 5 mins walk home)."

"We traveled to Newport for my sister’s bachelorette party and had the best stay at Steve’s condo! It was perfect for our group and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Everything was clean, organized, spacious, and comfortable. Steve was also super communicative and helpful leading up to our stay, which made everything so easy. And the location truly couldn’t be beat- we were so close to everything and able to walk almost everywhere. Would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend in Newport!"
