Lovely staff and the house had lots of character, plus ocean view and proximity to Cliff Walk. Enjoyed the library, grounds, availability of tea and snacks as well as wine hour and nicely prepared breakfast. Overall, the property had been well restored and updated. But there were places in the room I stayed in where paint was noticeably chipping, and the towels are way past their prime. Expected a little more attention to details and amenities in the room from a place that basically does everything else really well. A nice place to stay, and I'd consider staying again, just think they could make a few small upgrades to make it a higher-quality experience.

The Cliff Side Inn is beautiful, clean and each room is unique. The location at the cliff walk is perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a bonus.
