"Perfectly fine accommodation in this historic property. Great location. Good parking. Free breakfast but coffee tasted terrible. In our bedroom, the carpet needs to be replaced or deeply cleaned as it was well worn. AC worked great. Bed was comfortable. Overall a good stay for the price given location and season."

"We fully enjoyed our stay at the Jailhouse Inn. It is conveniently located a few blocks from downtown, which we used to our advantage to go back and forth freely between meals and shopping. Our bedroom was spacious and sunny, and the king-sized bed was very comfortable. Parking was right on the side of the property, which was great. What we appreciated most was the extra touch that the hotel provided, from cookies and coffee available at check-in and in the afternoon, to the terrific breakfast display (homemade oatmeal was fabulous) and friendly staff. Our favorite part, however, was the comfortable seating on the front porch. Just added that extra home-y touch. We will definitely return."

"What a hidden gem! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the check in process was super quick. They were even able to get us into our room an hour early and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. I was a little worried about the parking situation, but we had no problem getting a spot in the garage. The room itself was gorgeous. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms upstairs, and it was extremely clean with a comfy bed and nice, cold AC. The location was perfect too, just a couple blocks from all the action while still being a great place to come back to and relax. Would 100% stay here again. Between the friendly staff, great location, clean and comfortable room, and easy parking, we had an awesome experience!"

"I think I’d give this property a 3.5 stars if I could! We stayed during the Newport Jazz Fest so prices were absolutely bonkers for what you actually get. The hotel itself is nice, they had ice bags available on every room as well. The cons: no in room fridge and the gym is very tiny. There’s also no pool or onsite restaurant. Though there’s one right across the warf. Parking is also $45 per night which I steep."

"The rooms were absolutely impeccable!! Thr location was great. The breakfast on the tooftop patio was creative and delicious. Parking is always a challenge in Newport and the handled it very well with prepaid remote parking. I would recommend the Outlook Inn to anyone."
