"It was a lovely place. My only complaint was that the walls are pretty thin and was really noisy with a family next door. We would like to visit again when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy more of the amenities. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and view of the James River. "

"It was a very quiet place, and we had a good time. Kitchen had everything we needed to fix meals. Service for 8. Cabinets were dated. Dining room chairs are not tall enough for table! I felt like I was a kid sitting at the table. "

"We had a wonderful time in Cottage 39. We were in town for a wedding and wanted a little bit of space for our family of 4. This was the perfect spot. We didn't get to spend a lot of time on property because of wedding activities, but we did take advantage of the free mini golf as well as the outdoor and indoor pools at the lodge. The kitchen was great for making breakfasts to start our busy days. We would definitely stay here again."
