"This property is conviently close to Kyoto station and Kyoto Tower which made it perfect for moving around Kyoto and taking Shinkansens to other cities. Its in a relatively quiet area near the train station but also has plenty of foot traffic near it which helped us feel safe and comfortable waling to the hotel at any hour. We also loved the delicious restaurants that were nearby that really made this stay a highlight if our trip!"

The futons were top quality super comfy too! The land-lady is very lovely and a wonderful host. "Not only do they provide yukata to use for the bath, the onsen itself was lovely, the water was always the perfect temperature and the staff was wonderful. The rooms are cozy but there are spaces to put larger pieces of luggage beneath the bed. Overall, it’s a short walk to some major destinations (Kyoto Station, Aeon Mall, Kyoto Aquarium) and has a convenience store…conveniently right next to it! Highly recommended."
