"Great location for visiting Kyomizu and Gion areas. Spacious apartment with a mixture of traditional and modern Japanese interior. Friendly owner but a bit difficult to communicate with he in English. The check-in and check-out procedures are done online at the front desk and seem unnecessary. The check-in time is too late at 16:00. It should start at 14:00. "

"We stayed in 3 different hotels during this vacation, & the room we had at Ori had the only window that provided good natural sunlight. The room was so welcoming the moment you walk in. The accent lighting was pleasant; kitchenette with a microwave, 1 set of W/D in each floor, 300Y per wash; the only concern we had was the door to the toilet area that had a 3 slim panel closure, it made a loud noise every time you try to close it, & we could hear the other rooms having the same issue; loved that...

"The check in was easy and the reception staff was helpful and accommodating they even provided a shuttle for us and our luggage to the hotel as it is in a different location. They will even hold your luggage if check in is not ready. Hotel room was nice and clean and a bus stop was right outside. Highly recommend!!! "
