"We stayed 2 nights here and found the experience pleasent. The hotel staff were friendly and spoke english very well, communication was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, a short walk away from To-ji Temple and Umekoji park. Beds were comfortable, much more so than other hotels we stayed at. The room and bathroom were spacious. The only downside to the quiet neighborhood setting was it is a slightly longer walk to Kyoto station or restuarants and shops (Aeon mall is not far). Not a...

"Spacious room with good facilities but the mattress is a bit too soft and there’s no view from the room because there’s a piece of something outside the window. Location is close to the JR station but there are no restaurants or cafes nearby."
