"The rooms were small but nice. Definitely a cool kyoto boutique vibe. Amenities were a free for all in boxes up at the front. Overall really clean. The directions to get in could be alittle easier. Like telling the people that the code for the room is for the box that you have to open. We figured it out on our own but 2 other people asked for help because it wasn't directly on the instructions. "

"I really love the authentic feel of the traditional style ryokan. The stairs are a little steep and narrow, but that is part of the charm of a 100+ year old inn. The owner is a very sweet and kind person and takes you a tea when you check into the room. The room was wonderful, with nice tatami mats and an authentic futon on the floor. "
