そもそも設備が充実しているから高評価ですが、洗濯機よりも電子レンジがあった方が良いかもしれません。せっかくの朝食のお弁当が冷たいままでは、美味しさ激減です

良かった点 ・朝食の湯豆腐弁当がアツアツで、良い朝食を頂けた ・お風呂に洗い場があるタイプ、とても広く2人でゆったりと入れた ・今回使用しなかったが、部屋にキッチン、洗濯機がある、準備をすれば使うのおすすめ ・屋上から見える東寺は素晴らしいの一言、夜のライトアップがおすすめ ・フロントのスタッフさんは日本人ではなかったが日本語が非常にうまく、対応も素晴らしかった ・ホテル外にすぐコンビニあり、バス停もあり 悪かった点 ・部屋と廊下の壁と窓が薄く、外の声が気になる 特に廊下に喫煙所があるため、部屋の割り当てにもよるがその近くだと内外の会話が通ると思われる 総じて、リピートあり

The in-ro laundry was perfect, I've been travelling for a while and was in desperate need of a place to do laundry. Plus, the room was spacious, and I was able to cook a bit of food for the first time in over a week. The staff were super helpful, location is a bit far from some stuff but near enough to a train station that it really wasn't an issue for me. Would absolutely stay again in the future!

We had an awesome family room looking right over Toji temple. It is close to a bus stop or Toji station to get back to Kyoto centre. Nice Japanese feel hotel with authentic experiences in the local neighbourhood especially the restaurant next door Teppan-damashii Satoshinchi was awesome.

Washer/dryer combo was included which turned out to be very useful after many days of sweating in the Japan humidity. The room was maintained every day once we would leave to go explore. Staff is very amicable and accomodating with English speakers and will do their best to speak English with you. They have their own luggage transport service with a pamphlet both at the front counter and within the drawer of one of the nightstands. All of the instructions come in both Japanese and English. There are good food options and the sight of Toji temple in front of the hotel is beautiful. This hotel is very well placed location-wise for trains and buses. A satisfying experience for first timers in Japan.

Great staff. Clean room. Nice japense breakfast. Right by Toji Temple which is very nice site and very easy to get into the city by bus or taxi. Walked from bullet train but can take a quick train to Toji station and walk 5 mins to hotel. Glad we stayed here

Beautiful classic architecture and landscaping with koi pond. Very clean, comfortable and delicious vegan bento box. Staff were all very helpful. Wonderful way to fully experience the uniqueness of Kyoto.

We had 2 rooms for our extended family of 5 adults at the end of September. The rooms at Sunrise Suites are spacious, clean and well appointed. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The property is close to transit and family rooms give a great view of Toji Temple right across the street. We appreciated the convenience of the small open kitchen, large washroom and living spaces, and washer/dryer combo. Room temperature was easy to manage with fluctuating weather conditions. The only downsides for us were the extra firm beds and pillows, and that the rooms aren’t very sound proof or light proof. The sound of constant traffic on the busy road in front and guests in other rooms is easy to hear and window coverings are sliding doors with shoji paper. So far, all the properties we’ve stayed at in Japan tend to have firm mattresses and pillows, so likely something you just need to be prepared for. If you are sensitive to sound and light when sleeping, we suggest you bring earplugs and sleeping masks. Not sure we would stay here again because of the sound and light, but it is a beautiful property with lovely staff.

Would recommend.

Amazing hotel, the style was lovely, it had good connections to rail and bus. The staff were friendly and the washer dry was a nice inclusion. The morning breakfast was really nice and a great way to start the day. Would definitely recommend staying here

Very reasonably priced large hotel room. It had kitchenette and washer/dryer. Staff was helpful and spoke enough English for us to communicate well. There are many nearby restaurants and convenience stores. Buses and train in walking distance. Room was tidied every day. Elevator needs new carpet. Only Japanese breakfast is served. And they still use room keys, which I haven’t seen in easily 30 years. All in all, a great place to stay.

Perfect Spot for a week in Kyoto

Sunrise Suites is comfortable. The staff is friendly. It's a beautiful property complete with a zen sand garden in the courtyard area. Plus, it's only one train stop from Kyoto station. The location, comfort and aesthetic was exactly what I was looking for. I would stay again!
