Quant Place 15 mins from Kyoto Station

Our stay here was amazing. All amnenities where provided. There was even a coin operated laundry machine. While there wasnt many restaurants immediately close, a short walk back to the station area will contain many choices.

Clean and coat effective

A little surprised to find it in the middle of a normal housing neighborhood off the main path, but a short and easy walk to Kyoto Station each morning and a good price. A bit surprised by the self check-in/-out but it worked well, smelled good and was clean

Very nicely located near Kyoto station and was great to have laundry and microwave available for use. The check-in counter also works by itself without staff so that was convenient when staff were busy helping others.

The good: cheap, clean, and quiet The bad: too small for three people, indeed a bit too far from Kyoto train station. We ended up taking bus at the end of the day, while still walking to Kyoto station in the morning

The room was clean and check-in was smooth. Location is alright (about 15-20 minutes walk to Kyoto station). There were restaurants and convenience stores around. The room itself was quite small and had no space for opening big luggage.

A little far walk from kyoto station, but for this value, you cannot beat the price. You get free ice cream bar from 4pm to 12am. You can also get free basic amenities from the lobby. The room was very basic, on the smaller side with a comfortable double bed. I only stayed for two nights, but it was good for a short-term stay.

The hotel was very clean the rooms were bright. We had nice heat. Too hot at times. I do wish the beds was a bit sofer. It was very firm mattresses. They didnt have luggage delivery. But over all it was a wonderful stay. Staff was very nice and welcoming.

I checked in the hotel after 10pm and there is a staff receptionist assisting with the check in process. The only comment I have is that the check in machine requires a lot of writing/ typing which can be done pre- check in instead of at the counter. Room is clean and tidy.

We booked here for 4 nights in Kyoto for 6 people (2 in each room). Check-in was automated as the front desk was unmanned, but it was relatively easy. The area around the hotel is nice and quiet. The rooms are slightly bigger than APA so we could open our luggages on the comfortably, which was a plus. The rooms are clean enough for Japan, but could have been done better. There was a room on the first floor where you could do laundry. In the same small room, there was even a water dispenser where you could fill up your water bottle for free and a microwave to heat up your food, although the microwave was broken during our entire stay. The only major complaint that we had was that this small laundry/water dispenser/microwave room was right beside the smoking room, which stank so bad if the door was even slightly open. Please consider removing this smoking room and convert it to another amenity. Check-out was also relatively seamless and you could even leave your luggage for a bit (at your own risk) with bicycle locks that are provided on the first floor. Overall, the stay was pleasant and we would consider staying here again in Kyoto.
