"Very friendly staff and very clean rooms with an excellent guest lounge with a very clean kitchen"

"Loved this place. Felt very calm and relaxing. Really enjoyed our stay here!"

"Great place. Reasonable price"

"This was my second stay here, and I loved it. The dorm is well maintained, and there is a lot of room for luggage with a little desk area next to the bed. There is also a downstairs common area and tables outside to sit, which means there is plenty of space to relax. The location is very convenient, close to great restaurants and a short walk to transportation."

"Friendly staff"

"Me and my sister really enjoyed our stay here. It was a quiet and nice place to rest after a long day touring around. We liked the options for coffee in the morning and the freedom to use the kitchenette area :)"

"Good typical accomodation. Everything was great, I’ve very slept well. Great location. You can arrived at the time you can. It’s self check in and check out. There is no people at the receptions but everything was ok : I totally recommend it"

"Amazing Hostel, would highly recommend staying here. Everything is kept very clean and the stuff was very supportive and kind. Also the location was perfect to explore Kyoto, with several lines and buses in walking distance."

"Very quiet, modern and nice."

"Tommy always makes you feel at home, a great place to stay if you want to experience Kyoto like a local. The guesthouse is minutes away from both metro an JR stations, there are businesses, convenience stores, public baths and everything you need to feel at home."

"Easy to check in and check out. "

"It was a wonderful stay, a nice experience in a Japanese house. Mama and Papa are so kind and generous, very welcoming, and the place is so cosy and charming. I'd happily come back and stay here! 😊🤗 "

"This is an absolutely great hostel - brand new, very clean, spacious ground floor (this is the common area) but maybe not enough seating when the hostel is fully booked (add a couch?). One can feel that everything is brand new, my room (8 people dorm) had a top light and bottom lights (next to the beds) for the night, which I thought was great. The bed is very comfortable and you can choose between three or four types of pillows (sic!)! My bed had a total of 3 power outlets + 1 USB port + my own...

"This was the cutest hostel above a cafe/bar. Breakfast was delicious and we were close to walk to many of the sights and train stations. Would definitely stay here again."

"Everything perfect, clean, staff very kind "

"Close to Nijo castle, everything so clean and staff really care about us!"

"Nice place."

"優しく親切な店主様 アットホームで、プライベートも守られてます。 レンタル自転車、セグウェイのポイント地点でもあります。 現地について、織物の盛んな場所と知り、時間的に回れかったのが少し残念でした(⌒-⌒; )"

"The atmosphere was great, the staff was extremely kind and accommodating of a few extra questions I had, and the location was beautiful. Just helped make an already great trip even better. Plus the beds were the most comfortable I’ve had in a hostel so far!"

"蛇口をひねると全て地下水、塩素との入っていないお水、冷蔵庫にいつも冷えてて美味しい。 お部屋はとても狭くて隠れ家な感じだけど寝に帰るだけなので全然気にならない、なんだか凄く良いニオイがします。"
