"The room was bigger than expected, with a coffemaker. It was nice to have high ceiling in the room. The location was very convenient, close to a JR train station and close to a supermarket. Also close to a public bath (sento). It was quiet at night, we had a good sleep. Very friendly staff. Also liked the bread and jams in the morning. Would stay there again!"

"With few rooms and a common kitchen (which is very well organized) it's easy to get in contact with other travellers. The rooms are traditional and smells cozy of fresh tatami mats. The guesthouse is located in a nice area with low houses. 20 minutes to walk from the train station."

"No one was at reception desk at the time of check-in (1600-1800). No one picked up the phone listed at the notice board. We only managed to check in after 1.5hrs in the cold Tokyo evening after getting the locals to try to contact the hotel. Room condition was bad. There was left over food in the fridge and the bedsheets looked soiled. Hotel does not respond to emails or phone. "
