"Matsubaya Ryokan was an amazing experience. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, and the premises were amazing to stay at. We stayed in the garden view room, and we were very pleased with the experience. The room was very spacious for Japan, and there was plenty of extra fun stuff to do, such as: tea making, a free sake tasting, and a private bath experience. A ton of fun, and a great find in Kyoto!"

"We spent four nights during our 2 week visit to Japan. We were a family of five with 3 kids under 7 years old. We loved the location as it is located closer to the train station also plenty of dining options nearby. Only concern was the bedsheets don't get changed which we did not like. Despite that overall had a great experience."
