「We had a lovely stay with our family of six persons in Moonbeam Cottage! It is a colourful, bright house with a well equipped kitchen, three well functioning bathrooms and a nice garden. A perfect place to stay for us. Mottingham Station is easy to reach by foot or bus and the train takes you within half an hour to London Bridge Station. The neighbourhood offers a Lidl very close by and several take away restaurants (we recommend the Turkish kebab restaurant!). Communication with Jasmine was...

"Reasonable and good breakfast"

"Although I arrived at the hotel around 9:00 a.m. for a one-night stay, I was able to check in and access my room immediately. Having arrived in London on an overnight flight from Ghana early that morning, I was able to shower, enjoy lunch in the city, and feel refreshed enough to make the most of the afternoon and evening. The Chinese restaurant on the top floor is also excellent; next time, I would love to book a table and try the Peking duck."

■ Kind and Helpful Staff! To be fair, the hotel is a little dated, which is reflected in the affordable rates, but it is clean and very conveniently located near Paddington Station. There is no elevator, but the staff kindly helped me carry my heavy suitcase upstairs. I was especially grateful to a Mongolian lady staff member who went above and beyond by storing my luggage for two nights while I was traveling to Ireland. Her kindness made my trip much easier. This may not be the right hotel if you are looking for a full-service experience. However, if you value a convenient location, cleanliness, and affordability, I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff work hard and genuinely care about their guests, and I am very thankful for the help I received during my stay."
