"I realise that the hotel is undergoing some refurbishment. Our room was clean, although the curtains can do with changing. That's both the net and heavy curtains. The bed was comfortable. There's enough space to hand the clothes. The bathroom was nice and modern but the shower needs upgrading. The water flow is weak. The location is fine but parking is on a 1st come 1st served basis. This is a hotel with great potential and was great value for money."

"As expected from DoubleTree, a comfortable stay. The room was exceptionally spacious — in fact, one of the largest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in — and everything was clean. Breakfast was fine and the location was pleasant and convenient. We stayed for just one night. The staff were helpful, although a slightly warmer and friendlier welcome would have made the experience even better."

"It was a in a great location, really central. Parking was great too and they let us stay there after we checked out while we went into town. The staff and the breakfast were lovely. The building is old and tired but you can see they’ve tried really hard to make the rooms nice"

"Car parking was very good, but it was not a secured parking. The room is super clean. But 1. There was no shower gel, and I did not bring mine. 2. My room was on the loft, so my head was banging on the A-shaped roof. 3. Air-conditioned was very good. 4. Bathroom is clean but the shower cubicle is a bad engineeing job. 5. The shower head is fixed to the wall, I wish you can pull it and direct it to where you want. Overall, It is a very good place to stay, I will go back there. "
