"The location was perfect for my needs. The room was tastefully decorated. There was no issue with the separate bathroom. The bed was a bit creaky and a mattress topper would be a good investment. My coffee machine didn’t work but had instant coffee. There was no continental breakfast left in the room unfortunately. The house beer in pub great .. Staff were friendly. I will definitely stay there again Thank you"

"We arrived at the property and it was dirty, in a poor location and NOT AT ALL as advertised. There is no roof top terrace (it's a balcony) and the building that is shown in the advertisement is NOT the one u will stay at. It is a random photo of a DIFFERENT property. We did not stay at this property. We got to the flat ....looked at the mounds of trash in front of the building and then more trash up on entering the building.......then went to the flat and found mold on the shower, and left over...

I booked well in advance based on the locale (Bloomsbury), positive reviews, and bargain pricing compared to other area hotels. My room was a twin bed single + ensuite. Compact. No room for a desk, chair, wardrobe or such if that's what you need, but was fine with me. Bathroom is small but ok, but the shower leaves no elbow room (it has one of those rain heads, but there's no escaping it in this skinny phonebooth, so you have to turn it off to wash and shampoo, then back on again to rinse)....

The Parkwood front desk staff really went out of their way to help us out. We arrived well before check-in on a Saturday morning and were able to drop off our bags and head off into town. Very friendly, easy check-in process when we returned during which they apologized for placing us on the 4th floor (last double room available; we knew that when we booked) and offered to move us for the remaining two nights. I cannot say enough about our stay at Hand and Flower! The location was perfect (close to all modes of public transportation), the food was delicious (the inlcuded breakfast is the most generous we have ever experienced)… a comfy bed and updated amenities (charging stations, tea and coffee service, bathrobes)… this was our first visit to London and when we return we will be staying at The Hand and Flower!
