「When I can I always use the holiday inn express.
Poole was just as normal,
I don’t need entertaining swimming pools saunas spas etc
Nice comfortable clean room just got the best pillows and bedding,
And just a superb breakfast.

「Great location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, nice toiletries and great selection of coffee and teas. Great food and drinks available onsite.
Ideas for improvement- larger fridge, the fridge is tiny - other than the free water that is provided you can’t fit anything more in there. Robes would be nice as well as body lotion or hand cream in the bathroom.」

「A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again.」

「Had a wonderful stay at Anchorage, it’s such a fantastic location. The place was spotless and had everything we needed.
Great communication from the hosts and everything went very smoothly in terms of checking in/checking out.
Would definitely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.」

「We had everything we needed - and more if you've forgotten anything - for our short stay. Lovely, spotless room (church view) just like the pictures, with gated parking. Apart from being a pleasant host, Jenny provided excellent, easy to follow check in information and details of places to eat and drink, which were all very close by.」

「Fawlty Towers still exists and it is right here at this Hotel. In addition you get to experience a modern day Basil Fawlty run breakfast. This is not a serious. Just sit back and watch the chaos unfold!」

「Breakfast is average and good parking facilities.
Good food pub and eat but stay was terrible with boiling hot room stay they provided a single table fan for a family of four and the windows weren’t able to be opened with the smell off the dusty carpets overall can’t recommend for a family stay」
