"This is our third stay in this lovely hotel. I love it, they’re so friendly, very welcoming. It’s so close to all amenities & the harbour. My only criticism was that they no longer offer a parking permit or concession for the bays outside the front. I have a blue badge and my husband had to park the car in the Pavilion at a cost of £15 per day. "

"Customer service was top notch.Went there for a quick 3 day trip for our 25th wedding anniversary before flying out later in the month. I tried my luck and asked the hotel room to be decorated to reflect the occasion and Village hotel delivered big time! They decorated the room with flowers and gave us a whole bottle of expensive Champagne to grace the occasion as well. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised and impressed- Thank you so much Village hotel , we will surely be back. Hotel also has good restaurants and does fantastic grilled food and you have to try one of their burgers. Good quality hotel with fantastic customer service. We will be back !"

"The room I had was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff ver froendly and happy to help with any query. Breakfast was buffet style full English on offer, cereals, fruit, toast. Dinks tea coffee, and 4 fresh fruit juices. "

"Really nice hotel in a great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and good size. Breakfast was good but the service was slow and refilling of food was very slow. Seemed like they were understaffed for the number of guests."
