"We booked a room last minute with this hotel after our flight was cancelled at Cancun airport. The hotel staff graciously accepted and hosted over 50 people that had nowhere to go. We were thoroughly impressed and grateful for this hotel and the staff that remained helpful and positive despite the chaos. Our room was clean and the grounds were well-kept. Shuttles were on time and punctual for the amount of people that needed rushed to the airport next day. Wish we could have stayed longer! "

"I loved that there were many restaurants and many food options. I would add that the buffets can add more variety, and more options. I appreciated the service too. Rooms were always clean, and pool service was very good. I wished that the entertainments at nights had more variety, and more of live singing shows. "

"As a first time traveler to Cancun I highly recommend staying here! At first we had booked a stay at a different hotel right in the zone on the ocean which lasted one day where we quickly moved to the Marriott hoping it would be better. Well it far exceeded are expectations and made our stay 10x better IMMEDIATELY. The staff are all friendly, there’s a great breakfast with different options each day, the roof top pool/hangout area is beautiful. The room was so comfortable and spacious with a balcony to sit out on. The water pressure was great and there was amenities in our room! You may be thinking, isn’t that all normal? No, our first hotel did not have even half of these things and was not even willing or trying to be accommodating. The Marriott also has transportation to and from the airport, just make sure you reserve it all before you fly out! They also have shuttles to bring you out to popular destinations and then you just have to uber back to the hotel when you’re ready! Again, our first place had no shuttle options at all or airport transportation. Review each place your considering carefully when staying in Cancun, and I can assure you the Marriott was more than what we could’ve asked for at such a great price. "
