It was cloudy part of the time and so we couldn’t see much of the mountain, but on our last day the clouds lifted and the view was Amazing! It is also walkable to the beach and restaurants, and they have a shuttle to a bus stop and near a train station. "Check if Oiso Long Beach is open during your stay first. I did not. Rooms are slightly dated but still nice. The location is nice to look at but not so great for those without a car. The nearest public transport is a bus and thats 10 minutes away and another 10-15 to the train station. Food outside the hotel is also a 10 minute walk, but the food inside the hotel is good. Try their take out for way cheaper prices. Staff here will struggle with english, but they will try hard. Last, it feels...

"The onsen experience was fantastic. It's a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff services. We like everything about the hotel. The only thing we didn’t like was the long walk uphill from the bus stop to the hotel. While the hotel offered shuttle pick up from the bus stop, this information was not made known to us. We wish we knew to call the hotel to pick us up. Dragging our large luggages up the hill for 30 minutes was quite a challenge. "
