"Was actually at this resort during Hurricane Melissa. The staff was amazing. They provided service during the storm that went above and beyond. They continued to cook for us in spite of power outages and flooding. They stayed on hand putting guest’s priorities over their own. Highly recommend this resort as I will visit again. "

"My stay here was during Hurricane Melissa so things were different for us. Our first two days on the resort were amazing before the storm hit. The private beach, pools, swim up bar were all amazing, staff was great, very kind and beautiful people. The food was 4/10 only because it was bland and lacked seasoning but I think they make it that way to accommodate all people, there was a good variety though. The staff did great during and after the storm in my opinion, they were definitely prepared for Melissa. Our trip was extended from 4 to 9 days, we had to travel to Kingston to get back to the US it was definitely a vacation for the books! "

"I would say the hospitality from the entire work staff was impeccable, even though we were there at possibly the worst time in history during hurricane Melissa the staff made sure that everyone was safe and well taken care of outside of the fact of us not having any running water or air-conditioning. We had food and shelter. The resort also make sure logistically that everything was accommodated for."

"I unfortunately was victim of Hurricane Melissa and spent my vacation as well as many extended days in Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall. Although I was not able to enjoy my vacation to its full potential due to the weather circumstances, I wouldn't have chosen a better hotel to stay at during those difficult times. Words would not be able to describe the gratitude and how appreciative I am for the entire team that took care of us. From the staff, to the manager (Keneve), and the GM Adrian. They were very attentive and gave it their all despite the circumstances. Amazing people, amazing food, amazing entertainment, and a beautiful establishment. Had things been different, I know this would have been the ultimate vacation. I hope that sooner rather than later Jamaica continues to restore and flourish into the beautiful country that it is. #onelove"

"Every head must bow, every tongue must confess: The Secrets wild orchid is the best all inclusive in Jamaica. This Hotel is perfection, they did suck a good Job taking care of all the guest during the Hurricane Melissa. "

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Zilara, although we cut it a day short due to Hurricane Melissa. This was my first trip to Jamaica. The staff was friendly and customer-centric and the views of the beach and ocean were beautiful! Only dined at the buffett for breakfast and lunch (Choicez) but breakfast was soooo good. The Italian restaurant was our favorite specialty restaurant and our server, Ashonie I think his name was, gave five-star service! He was the sweetest and fulfilled every request with the brightest smile on his face. There was even a point where I got dehydrated (drink plenty of water if partaking in the incessant flow of alcohol!) and a nurse gave me some tea and offered suggestions of what to eat to help replenish my fluids. I was back to my happy self again within two hours! I’m keeping everyone at Hyatt and all of Jamaica in my prayers as they embark on this road to recovery. I will DEFINITELY visit again in the future since I had such a great time! "
